Week 1

So I don't have much to say to be honest. This first HoH was a crapshoot. I didn't think anyone would really lie when it came to their houses since they would be revealed eventually, but I never saw most of these people on. Come to find out that most of this cast is from outside the U.S...COOL!! This will make this game pretty hard socially which is not a good thing in a game like this. I don't have the time to wait around all the time for people to wake up, so we will see how this goes.

Aaryn winning this HoH isn't a bad thing I don't think. It's obvious she talked to a lot of people to get that win and that's good for her. She now has to put up two people this week and it's based on...what? I didn't want it because it would be hard to decide. Especially with us only playing one comp, it's hard to gauge who will be strong in challenges and who won't so putting up people randomly could be pretty hurtful later. 

She says she hasn't talked to many people today at all which is good news for me. I'm talking to her now and basically being the last person in her ear before she makes her decisions so I might be able to ensure I don't go on the block and maybe allow me to go for that good prize in the Room of Requirement. I like the twist and it will just add another fun aspect to the game.

Oh God, that nomination ceremony!! lol Aaryn is obviously playing up her character which is funny! At first the way Aaryn came to me in the comp made me feel like I needed to go for her sooner than later. She talked to me for a short time, but as soon as I told her my house, she stopped talking. Dead conversation. That's not good. It let me know that she talked to me strictly for the comp and that's all she really cared to do. She got her 15/15, so it worked, but she didn't even share her own house or bothered to continue the conversation and make it seem like she had other reasons for talking to me. But tonight we really connected I feel like and I realize I got to her because I convinced her to send me to the Room of Requirement in the matter of like half an hour. So far, I'm living up well to my Derrick character. I told her that whatever is in the RoR, I would work with her on it if there is some sort of event that has to take place or if there is a decision to be made. That's a small price to pay in order to potentially get my hands on something good or have a way of controlling something. I didn't even offer her to send her in return if I won HoH, but I'm sure when it comes time, she will bring it up.

Aaryn and I are both from CO apparently and all these other people seem to be from outside the US. I really focused on this because this gives me a reason to pull Aaryn in. We live like 15 minutes from each other. I'm just hoping she doesn't plan to want to meet up because I'm not down for that.

My main allies so far would (now) be Aaryn, Zach, and Harry. Harry is probably my loosest ally since we've only talked through PMs, but that's more than I've done with most others. He assured me that if he were to win this HoH, I would be safe. Hey, that's enough for me right now. If it continues in that direction, then so be it!

Zach is definitely my #1 at this point. He's a flirty gay guy who is really over the top when drunk. I already like this guy and we have #Zerrick going on which is great. If I can keep this guy in my corner, then we will have good things ahead.

Anyway, the biggest set back for me may be the fact I'm headed to the RoR, but I'm hoping that since it's week one, a lot of the basic people will be targeted and those who don't talk. I hope this will be the case for a while and I can just take a back seat for the time being.

I guess my biggest set back WAS the fact I went to RoR. I worked magic to go there and it may be the reason I'm headed home in week 1. What a story, right? Geez. I'm not happy about it. I think if I would have known that there was a chance I could be nommed, I wouldn't have bothered. I didn't really think of that, so next time if I go to RoR, I will need to be much more contemplative and less hasty.

Well, since I'm now on the block, I guess I have reason to start talking to people more. The issue is that I need to talk to people before PoV results come and I get stuck on the block for good. If I start talking to people after that happens, then I will just look desperate and people can't really take me at face value since I'm only talking to them to not get evicted. I sent my rounds of PMs since no one was on aim to chat with and I'm hoping something sticks. At worst I'm hoping people will just see that I am actually around and that I am at least trying. Hoping that alone might gather me a few votes.

Being up and Candice and Fleur...I'm not sure how I feel because I haven't talked to either of them and I don't know where others stand with them. Aaryn nominated them supposedly because that's who she talked to the least, so I'm hoping the others felt the same way. I definitely need to start working in order to get my butt safe this week though.

So being on the block sucks, but knowing I have a glimmer of hope in that Power of Veto is nice! SO I went out trying to go as fast as I could. At this point, I'm really not worried about being considered a threat in challenges because, well, it's week 1 and there is a lot of game to be played. If I show I'm a good competitor better than I showed in that HoH, it may get me more respect and even more allies. Who knows! So I went out there and worked my butt off and sure enough...I came up with the Power of Veto around my neck! Hot stuff!!

So I'm definitely planning to use it on myself. I told Aaryn that because I was nominated from the Room of Requirement, I really hoped she didn't have to replace someone with me, but to be honest, I did. I want her to put someone else up because more of these people need to be more concerned with the game and it's better to have more blood on Aaryn's hands right now as the first HoH because it's really a crap shoot on who she puts up. Maybe Candice and Fleur didn't talk to her much, but they both showed they can compete in challenges and the nominees were the only 3 to get all 16 right. We all showed we can do it,so Aaryn might have a good target on her after this, especially from Candice.

To be honest, I think everyone else kind of threw the comp. I don't really see how you don't get all of those right, but I can't say for sure. But it would make sense if no one else really wanted to win the Veto. No one makes an enemy from the block when 2/3 are coming down by not using it and no one makes an enemy in the HoH by using it on someone they already secretly have a bond with.

I'm happy though because I'm coming down. I talked to Aaryn about who to replace and she said Britney. That's who I was thinking anyways because Britney hasn't said a single thing worth noting around here and she doesn't even reply to my PMs. Jerk.

Really hoping that the eviction ceremony gets posted soon. I'm getting restless. Just want to vote out one of these semi-inactive people and get on with the game.

Definitely voting to evict Britney even though she is Ravenclaw because ultimately I don't care about house points and she is someone I haven't even talked to. Britney sucks.
