Minerva: Candice, what word have you created? Candice: SANDBOXES! Minerva: Congratulations, that is a correctly-spelled 9-letter word! That would put you in the lead... CURRENT LEADERBOARD: Candice - SANDBOXES Cedric - CARTOONS Ian - RONDEAUX Draco - AXECandice searched for more than one letter at a time in each of her posts. It was implied that houseguests needed to search letters one at a time. However, on further review of the exact wording of the challenge, this is what was sent to all houseguests over AIM: "to do this comp, all you need to do is start a thread in your DR called 'PoV 9' and post #bbhogwartsX and replace that X with a number from 1-100 and keep doing that until you find enough letters to make a word *(Houseguest) locks in (WORD)* in the event of a tie in word length, the person who locked their word in first will win" The exact wording of the challenge has been reviewed and checked and it was never explicitly stated that this was against the rules. Hence, I have to follow what was written officially in word, and not was was implied or suggested or to be assumed by contestants, and as a result... Candice wins the Power of Veto!
