Minerva: It is time to crown a new Head of Hogwarts.
As outgoing HoH, Jeff is unable to compete. Having failed to vote, Derrick and Draco may not compete either. Sirius is returning from the Forbidden Forest and may not compete either.
This means there are nine people competing.
However, I am busy teaching second years how to turn animals into water goblets, so my Teaching Aide Spencer will explain this challenge to you momentarily.

Spencer: This challenge is called Royal Flush. The objective is simple. In a few minutes, I will be posting a list of five cards from a deck of standard playing cards in each Diary Room for the nine players participating. You must then hand over all of your cards to other players by simply posting who you will give each card to in your Diary Room. You may hand no more than 2 cards to any one player. Then, once all the cards are handed over, the person who can create the best poker hand out of their cards will win Head of Hogwarts. TIEBREAKER: Total number of cards collected. There are some of the same card that will be handed out - if you have two of the same card, only one can be used to create your best hand, but the extra card will count in the tiebreaker if we get to that. If you don't know how poker hands work, you may find an explanation here. Communication and strategising is fair game. You have 24 hours to hand over your cards! If anyone doesn't submit, they are out of the running to win HoH despite any cards received.
